Screen Printing

We specialize in high-quality plastisol, waterbased, PMS color matching, and discharge printing. With many different options of garments to choose from, we can accommodate single prints to 10,000+ quantity jobs, from simple one color designs up to tencolor designs.

Four color process printing is a system where a color image is separated into 4 different color values (called a color separation) by the use of filters and screens. This process allows us to create a high color count design and break it down into 4 screens using cyan, yellow, magenta and black. It's a great way to achieve high detail while keeping costs low. This process works best with white or neutral color garments but can be printed on dark garments as well by using a light discharge base screen to allow the color to remain vibrant.

With over 15 years of apparel decoration experience and a whole team of experienced professionals, we can handle your project from start to finish.  We'll also get it completed correctly on time every time.

Embroidery is the process of needle and thread. The selected image is stitched many times over to create your design, logo, or pattern on a garment. This is a high touch service that can be used on a variety of substrates that would otherwise be tricky for print.

People often ask “What is the difference between screen printing and custom embroidery ?“ Screen printing is the process of applying ink to a substrate by forcing it through a screen mesh. Embroidery is the process of thread, needle, and sewing to create your image or pattern. Although screen printing offers a crisp and soft feel, it cannot be applied to any and all garments. It is difficult to print on any material that is not a flat surface. So hats, bags, and jackets are generally embroidered.

The cost difference varies and depends on the artwork, sizing, surface and many other factors. So when thinking about which process will be best, remember t-shirts are always optimal for screen printing whereas oddly shaped items, or materials that do not lay flat are typically best for embroidery.

As Dufur Fire Chief I purchased 18 jackets for the Fire and Ambulance service. I did not hand them out until October and we have had several comments on them. At the school football games we were told that we stood out and everyone knew we were the EMS crew. On one accident we were commented from the sheriff officers that we could be seen very well. And on another accident scene our own crew that showed up on other engine and brush trucks said the same thing. We were very noticeable. My hats off to Linda and her staff for a well put together order and for everyone involved. We wanted to be seen and that way be safe in our duties and we got them both for Northwest Graphic Works. Again thank you from all of us.

CC on The Move

Linda was so helpful in selecting and designing our graphic T's for Crook County On The Move in Prineville, Oregon. She listened to our key goals for the shirts and worked with us on the style, color and graphic design. She communicated consistently throughout the process to make sure we were getting just what we wanted. The T-Shirts turned out perfect and were delivered on schedule! We definitely recommend Northwest Graphic Works for your screen printed T-shirt needs.

My husband has owned and operated Gorge Fly Shop for 25 years now and we were looking for a change in logo and trying to grow our brand. North West Graphics came highly recommended and we could not be happier! They helped us to come up with ideas for our new logo shirts and hats. They provided us with proofs within a few days and were able to make suggestions on color and style and delivered the finished product very fast. Prices are great and the customer service is outstanding! We would recommend them and their services without any hesitations. Thank you, Gorge Fly Shop.
